Description
This is a fine and imposing Italian water gilded mirror of good cartouche shape dating from around 1840.The mirror is in superb original condition with its very attractive original gilding all intact and the original mercury plate. The ornate frame has an acanthus decorated frame with a cabochon plume to the centre surrounded by two cherubs.
A good quality mirror in nice original order.
The measurements are 95 cms by 59 cms overall.
