Description

This is a stunning antique Heriz carpet from Persian Azerbaijan dating from the early 20th century. The carpet has a deep rose field with a two medallions framed by pretty indigo and cinnamon borders with stylised floral motifs. The carpet is in really good order overall with only very light wear to the central field. The heriz is a good size measuring 316cm by 160cm.
