Description

This is a most imposing Venetian mirror in the stunning Rococo or late Baroque style dating from the mid 19th century, circa 1850. The mirror has an asymmetric curvaceous, hand carved and gessoed timber frame, hand painted and with gilded highlights. The mirror plate is in beautiful clean condition with no blemishes. The piece has four small integral display shelves or girandoles to the frame. This has a wonderful decorative appeal that would give great impact in any situation. The mirror would be fine in a grand hall or drawing room or could even be a real eye catcher in a large bathroom.

The mirror is a grand size measuring 170 cms in height overall and 104 cms wide.
