Japanese Cloisonne Spherical Lidded Ginger Jar Mei

Description
This is a very pretty Japanese cloisonne ginger jar dating from around 1880. The jar is spherical in shape with three small conical feet and a circular lid with bronze layered chrysanthemum finial. The finely executed cloisonne work features blue panels with butterflies, birds and blossoms on a lemon ground with flowers and foliage. This is a good size measuring 13 cms high and 12 cms in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration.UK delivery is £12.
