Description
This is an attractive hand woven Mazlaghan carpet from West Iran, circa 1890. The carpet has a very stylish look and a great colour palette. The madder red field of stylised plants is centred by a serrated medallion and enclosed by triple narrow borders. The ends of the carpet have minor losses, this is secure and the pile is very good.The carpet measures 195 cms by 132 cms
