Description

This is a beautiful Kashmir rug hand woven in silk on silk. The finely detailed field of birds and flowers is centred by a stellar medallion surrounded by brick red borders. The rug is in excellent condition and appears to have never been on the floor as it comes with a cloth hangar to enable wall display of this fine work of art. The rug has beautiful colours and a very high knot count giving good detail to the images in the work. It has a good deep even pile and complete tasselled fringes in beautiful clean condition.

This measures 125 cms by 64 cms including the fringe.
