Description

This is a stunning, room size antique Persian Sarouk carpet from the Markazi province dating from the early 20th century. The rug has a central lozenge within a cobalt field of scrolling foliage and flowers, within stylised spandrels and red and coral borders. The rugs is in excellent order and is a good size measuring 348cm by 210cm.
