Fabulous Large Italian Hand Painted & Gilded Mirror

Description
This is a fine Italian mirror of grand scale with a lovely hand painted and gilded finish dating from around 1860.The mirror has a really characterful mask to the central shield with a representation of Bacchus wearing an ivy circlet and surrounded by a laurel leaf crest. This is a most imposing mirror in super order with the glass mirror plate being in lovely clean condition.
The piece measures 175 cms high by 115 cms wide overall.
