Description

This is an attractive wall clock with very pretty mother of pearl inlay in the form of a thistle design. The clock is veneered in rosewood which has a stunning colour and rich patina. The "ears" of the clock are carved as grapes and vine leaves and also have a lovely rich colour. The movement has been fully restored and runs for 8 days and strikes on a bell on the hour every hour. This dates from around 1880 and is in excellent working order. Both the case and the painted dial are in good clean condition.
This clock has lovely proportions measuring 58cm in height, 106cm and wide by 56cm deep.
