Description
This is a wonderful and quite quirky gilt and gesso pier glass mirror dating from the Regency period with an insect frieze design. Rather rare, the mirror features three bee or wasp type insects to the top frieze. The mirror plate has a reeded slip between column supports with a breakfront ball surmounted cornice. This a good size for such a mirror, measuring quite a large 108 cms by 76 cms and has great impact on the wall.UK hand delivery can be arranged with our careful furniture courier for £50 plus VAT
