Description

This is a beautiful, good quality Ghom Silk rug with a fine weave dating from around 1920. The rug has lovely colours to the design with a deep indigo ground to central medallion and shades of gold, soft yellow, and a lovely duck egg blue. The rug is in excellent condition with a very good pile and original fringes to the ends which are in good order with only some small losses. The rug is a nice size for a floor or would make a very attractive wall hanging, measuring 201 cms by 141 cms.
