Description

This an imposing French gilt mirror of good proportions which dates from around 1870. The mirror has an elegant arched top and an attractive good quality gesso gilded frame with an egg and dart style moulding. The mirror has its original 3/8 “ mercury plate which is in very good useable condition and it’s original backboards. The mirror is a grand size measuring 145 cms in height and 102 cms wide. It would look terrific above a large fireplace or as a free standing wall or floor mirror.
