Description

A good example of a 19th century Indian Talwar with an impressive 35” blade, housed in its original purple velvet covered scabbard. The curved steel blade has two narrow fullers to the back edge. Steel Udaipuri type hilt with pierced knucklebow.
Condition – Some light pitting to the hilt of the sword, commensurate with age. Blade in excellent order with virtually no pitting. Some wear to the scabbard but overall in very good condition. 104cm long overall.
