Description

This is a fine antique Tabriz Carpet which dates from around 1920.

The carpet has a very pleasing look with a loosely flowing floral design of vines and flower heads on an ivory field enclosed within deep borders of palmettes and serrated leaves. The carpet has a colour palette which is very easy on the eye, featuring pistachio, warm red and a teal blue set against the warm ivory. The carpet is finely woven in soft wool and has been cleaned ready for use. This is in excellent order overall, in keeping with the age of the carpet.

This is a very good room size measuring 373 cms by 288 cms.
