Description

This large floor standing French mirror is a most decorative and imposing piece of grand scale. The mirror has a real romantic look with its ribbon and garland gilded detail and floral and laurel leaf carving. The upper pediment has a crisply detailed egg and dart frieze and the large arched mirror glass is surrounded by a reeded mount with tied ribbon detail. The mirror plate is the original 19th century glass which is in super clean condition.

A very nice example indeed.

The frame measures 173 cms high by 106 cms wide at the crest 97 cms wide at the base.
