This is a beautiful antique Persian Qajar tile dating from the early 19th century. The tile is wonderfully glazed in the typical and very pretty colours of blues greens and pink on white and has a great subject matter depicting this grand Asiatic bird in flowers and foliage. The tile is in remarkable condition with no damage or restoration.The tile is a substantial piece measuring 38 cms by 26 cms.
