Description

This is a pretty early 19th century cruciform mirror of French origin dating from around 1820. The delicate water gilded frame has an attractive rubbed back look to the original gilding with the red oxide glowing through from beneath. This has its original plate glass which is in good order for its age with some characterful spotting and ageing.
The mirror is a neat size measuring 46 cms by 42 cms to the extremities and could be hung either way up.
