Description

This is a most attractive large Florentine mirror in super condition which dates from the mid 19th century. The very deep and ornately hand carved frame is of excellent quality with its original water gilding. The mirror has its original mercury plate, which is in good condition with a some age related marks as photographed.(see last photo). It also has its original pine back boards. The mirror has its original gilded ornate crest which could be attached so the mirror can be hung either portrait or landscape fashion.
The mirror is very substantial measuring 140 cms by 95 cms overall including the crest (which is 25 cms).
