Description

This is a very decorative French overmantel mirror with its beautiful original water gilding. The ornate surround has a delightful contrasting painted inner frame in a deep cream shade with a lovely antiqued craquelure finish. The mirror is a most imposing size with very nice proportions. This has its original double arch, deeply bevelled mirror plate which has some characterful ageing marks to the glass (Best seen in photo 6).
The mirror is a fine size measuring 170 cms high and 110 cms wide.
