Description

This is a beautiful mid Victorian period hand painted and gilded papier mache tray in lovely condition.
The rectangular tray has a very attractive design of central carnations with colourful buds and stems that are raised in the design. There are butterflies and leaves as well as hand gilded grasses throughout the piece giving it a really decorative appeal. The tray is a good size for use or display measuring 61 cms wide by 49 cms.
