Description

This is a very decorative19th century Regency style oval gilt mirror in the classical Adams taste. The mirror has elegant neat proportions with imposing wirework and gessoed scrolls of acanthus leaf and a fine pair of winged griffins seated either side of the central Regency urn. The mirror glass is the original bevelled glass plate in good clean condition and the back board is original and unaltered.
The mirror measures 130 cms by 66 cms overall.
