Antique Bronze Eagle on Marble Stand

Description
This is an impressive sculptural solid bronze eagle on marble column dating from the late Victorian era, circa 1870. The figured marble is in super order and has good quality polished brass mounts. The eagle is well modelled with open wings in solid bronze and this is a very imposing piece that would make a great desk ornament or fine table centrepiece.The eagle measures 48 cms overall in height and the wingspan is 30 cms. The base measures 12 cms by 12 cms square.
