Description

This is a very charming paisley pattern dish in brown and mustard by Scott Brothers of Southwick in Sunderland. Scott brothers made everyday pottery for four generations in Southwick. This twin handled dish is in typical brown and mustard yellow colours with an attractive paisley pattern. It dates from around 1840. There is a very small firing mark to one edge but the dish is excellent condition. The dish measures 30 cms by 19 cms.
