Description

This is a fine Tabriz carpet from Iranian Azerbaijan which dates from the early 20th Century. The carpet has a beautiful colour palette with a central medallion featuring light blue, deep indigo and soft coral set within a flower filled rich red field and enclosed by indigo flower head borders. The carpet is in lovely condition throughout with complete ends and selvedges and a soft pile. It measures 217 cms by 137 cms.
