Description

This is a beautiful large French arched overmantle with original gilding and mirror plate. The mirror dates from the late 19th century circa 1870 and is in lovely order. The mirror has a large decorative crest to the top and good detail to the frame and the original glass is in good clean condition with only minor marks as per its age. The gilding on the mirror frame is a particularly lovely bronze gold shade. The piece retains its original backboards and measures 120 cms by 76 cms high by wide overall.
