Antique Kashan Carpet

Description
This is a good antique Kashan carpet from Central Persia which dates from around 1900. The carpet has a very beautiful and typical design with a stepped pole medallion set within a deep indigo field and spandrels and deep borders in a rich red. Kashans are very finely hand woven with the finest of wools and have intricate fine designs. This is in very good condition for its age with some light overall wear and complete ends and selvedges. It measures 200 cms 131 cms.UK delivery is £20 or you are most welcome to collect.
