Description

This is a beautiful antique Kashan carpet from Central Iran with an attractive colour palette which dates from around 1920. The finely woven rug has a warm ivory lattice design field with stylised flowers and deep borders. Its colour palette is very warm with a rich red and salmon pink complimented by shades of indigo blue and a burnt orange . It is a useful size measurring 202 cms by 134 cms.
The carpet is in excellent condition with selvedges and ends complete and a good even pile.
