Description
This is a very smart gilt framed three glass overmantel mirror which dates from the late 19th century. The bevelled glass mirror has fluted Corinthian column supports with splendid detail and is decorated in relief with a frieze depicting classical scenes. This has its original gilded finish in superb condition and the detail to the cherubs and chariot scene is exceptionally fine.The mirror is in excellent condition and is a really great size, measuring 142 cms wide by 90 cms high
