Description

This is a handsome, superb quality mahogany cased timepiece by renowned clock-maker Dent of London, established 1814. Dent are perhaps best known as the makers of the most famous clock in the world the Great Clock of the Houses of Parliament, commonly known as Big Ben. Dent were awarded a Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria in 1841 and since then, many more from Royalty around the globe. The clock has a single fusee movement that keeps excellent time housed in an elegant arched mahogany case with decorative brass inlay. The case is raised on solid brass adjustable feet for ease of levelling the timepiece. The case measures 14" in height 9 and a quarter inches wide by 6" deep.
