Description

This is an imposing Victorian Regency style overmantle mirror with very attractive detail. The tasteful design has an impressing central Regency urn with pretty swags and floret roundels as well as scrolling acanthus leaf. The gilded frame has an egg and dart motif and the central bevelled mirror is the original Victorian glass that is in good clean condition. There are a few minor depletions here and there to the wirework which is well photgraphed here. This is historic age and does not detract from this beautiful piece. The mirror is a grand size measuring 40 high overall including the ornamentation, by 3 feet in width.
