Description
This is a lovely Georgian red Moroccan leather workbox with gilt mounts. The interior retains the original paper lining and tray. The internal tray dividers are missing. The lid is decorated with gilt mounts in the corners displaying charming acorn and oak leaf motifs. The ball feet the box sits on are decorated with foliate designs. The gilt handles are of a basket of fruit, denoting abundance.The box is in excellent condition.
