Description
This is a charming 1901 container by Erhard & Sohne. It is made of brass made with rosewood overlay. The exterior depicts a charming tug of war. There is a holder for a pair of scissors attached to the container. The pair of scissors included with the string pot is of the era but not original to the piece. String/ribbon/etc. is stored in the pot and comes through the hole in the lid where it can then be easily accessed and cut to length.Size:
