Description

A splendid top quality Lemonade or Pimms jug or pitcher, of course perfectly good for anything to be served nice and chilled.

The crystal is beautifully hand-cut having a plain round collar, hinged lid and spout and contains the original lidded tube to the inside which would be filled with crushed ice to the chill the contents as practical as beautiful.

The collar is marked for the Birmingham silversmith, JOHNSON, DURBAN & CO LTD and date to the late nineteenth century or very early 1900's. A grand and impressive piece with a base diameter measuring 6 1/2", spanning 7 3/4" from spout to handle and stands 10 1/2" max.
