Description

This has to be the best cutlery tray of it's type I have come across. Highly desirable, the winning combination of English solid Oak and superb quality silver plated mounts including four original ball feet.

The front and back have a central shield shaped mount, both un-engraved and vacant. The box is unmarked, but most probably by John Grinsell or Daniel and Arter. Victorian in era, dating to around 1890.

The footprint measures 14 1/2" x 7 3/4" the rim measuring 15" x 7 3/4 x 5" tall to top of central divider.
