Description

A truly exceptional Edwardian tea caddy in Adam style standing on three hoof feet and beautifully decorated with three Ram's heads, swags and Acanthus leaves.

The silver is fully hallmarked for London 1908, Edwardian in era and a true antique, over 100 years old. The makers mark is also present for the top notch London silversmith, "Goldsmiths and Silversmtihs Co. Ltd." A matching set of marks can be found on the rim of the lid.

Once the lid is removed (fits perfectly) a lavishly gilded interior is revealed to both box and lid.

Superb condition made from a good gauge of solid sterling silver, a good weight @ 313.4 Grams / 10 Troy Ounces. 5.59" tall x 3.7" in diameter excluding Rams heads.
