Description

A fabulous French silver plated wine cooler or champagne bucket dating to c.1960 with a rim resembling a tulip head and stunning Art Deco styled handles to either side.

Just back from our silversmith where is has been professionally cleaned and polished returning it to it's former glory. There is the usual usage wear to the inside base and the underside commensurate with age.

The underside is where the signature "Ercuis" can be found for this famous top-notch silversmith, Ercuis of Paris famous for outfitting the luxury liners Normandie, Ile de France and Ville d'Alger.

Excellent condition spanning 10" handle to handle x 8" x 8 1/4" tall. Anything you see on the surface is simply reflections.
