Description

A rare example from the creme de la creme of French silversmith's, Orfèvrerie Christofle of Paris.

This grand silver plated Champagne bucket or wine cooler is beautifully decorated with engine turned bands running around the sides, typically Art Deco dating to c.1930/1940.

The underside is fully marked for Christofle together with the "Metal Blanc" mark.

Just returned from our silversmith's workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

Excellent condition measuring 9" handle to handle x 7 1/4" x 7 1/2" tall.
