Description

A superb quality silver plated seven bottle cruet dating to the late Victorian era and dating to c.1895.

The panels to the front and back and the handle are all hand-pierced or reticulated, incorporating a variety of birds and a vacant shield shaped cartouche.

The bottles are all original, beautifully cut: there are two salt shakers, two oil and vinegar bottles a mustard pot, a large pepperette and a cayenne pepper pot.

The underside is fully marked for the well renowned silversmith, Boardman and Glossop of Sheffield and London.

Excellent condition measuring 11 1/4" x 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" to top of handle.
