Description

An outstanding antique French photograph frame made from cast mixed metals with the most amazing collection of cherubs gracing the front amongst a plethora of flora and foliate decoration, all finished with a combination of copper plate, brass and gold (gilding).
This large heavy example retains it's original folding easel stand and a sliding panel which allows access to change pictures.

Dating to around 1900, the frame remains in superb condition. An overall measurement of 11 1/2" x 9 1/2" with a glazed aperture measuring 5 1/2" x 4".
