A magnificent and rare English sterling silver photograph frame by the top notch silversmith, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company Ltd. of London.

The frame is totally original with the original velvet backing incorporating a folding easel stand and retains the original silk backing, gold stamped by the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company, Ltd., 112 Regent St. London W and By Royal Appointment to HRH The King.

Of course what makes this a highly collectable frame are the five enamel flags for the Great European allies of WW1.

The side of the silver frame is where the full English hallmark can be found for London 1914.

A superb, highly sought-after frame in excellent condition, minor wear commensurate with age measuring 7 3/8" tall x 4 5/8" wide with a glazed aperture measuring 5 1/4" x 3 1/2".
