Description

A beautiful and stylish photograph frame made from solid English sterling silver with a solid Oak backing with a folding easel stand.

The silver decorated with repousse or embossed floral and foliate motifs with a central vacant cartouche to the top. The frame is lucky enough to have retained the original bevelled glass, rarely found.

The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1904 together with the makers mark for Deakin and Francis Ltd. Excellent condition measuring 8" x 5 3/4" x 1" with the glazed aperture measuring 5 1/2" x 3 3/4".
