A charming little sterling silver Jewellery / Ring box elevated on four elegant cabriole legs.

The top is inset with a stunning piece of period tortoiseshell with beautiful markings and colours ranging from golden champagne to rich chocolate brown the shell inlaid with the most charming pique inlay.

The box opens to reveal the original red silk lining.

The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1907, Edwardian in era, together with the makers initials W C for the top notch silversmith, William Comyns.

Excellent condition measuring 2 5/8" x 2 1/4" and standing 1 5/8" tall.
