Description

The most charming little figural coin purse made from leather and fitted with a white metal / nick clasp and chain. The leather is in excellent condition.

Of course what makes this so very special and highly collectible is the wonderful cast brass Cat's face mount to the front sporting his original glass eyes I haven't had one of these for around five years so was delighted to find this on a recent buying trip.

Dating to the late Victorian era, around 1890. The purse measures 2" x 2 1/4" and 5" including the chain.
