Description

A wonderful combination, this exquisite and highly decorative piece of hand - blown Victorian glass sits in a simple and very elegant silver plated stand allowing the glass to be the standout element.

The stand stands on it's original three ball feet and the glass fits perfectly. Hand blown with a polished pontil mark on the underside where the glass would have been cut after blowing, the colour is magnificent and highly sought-after. The fluted dish is also decorated with a gold frill running around the centre.

Superb condition dating to the Victorian era, around 1860. The overall size measures 8" wide x 6" x 7 1/2" tall. Once the dish is removed, the glass measures 6" in diameter x 3" tall.

Perfect for Chocolates, preserves or even Pot-Pourri! A versatile piece to use or simply admire.
