A wonderfully decorative Edwardian sterling silver card case with all-over embossed or repousse decoration to back and front surrounding a central vacant cartouche.

The hinged lid opens to reveal the full English hallmark for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the date letter for the year 1905 the makers initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

The perfect size for storing modern day business cards, excellent condition,, measuring 3 7/8" x 2 7/8".
