Description

A fabulous and wonderful find, which came to us in a black condition, our silversmith has worked wonders to professionally clean to create a magnificent example.

The cruet is in the form of a Butler's Tray, made from solid English Oak and silver plated mounts and stand. The stand is marked by the silversmith, which is for Henry Bourne & Daniel J. O'Neill of Birmingham, only operated between 1881-1886, so easy to date.

The inserts are cut glass and silver plate, the mustard and pepper with pagoda shaped tops.

Excellent condition, measuring 5" x 4 7/8" standing 5 1/4" tall to top of mustard and pepper lids.
