Antique large Oriental bronze vase, bowl, or planter.

Would make a great coal or small log basket also.

This is a lovely quality piece, that is quite rare and unusual.

We are unsure of the age of this item, but it does have a lot of age and would expect 19th or Early 20C. We understand furniture, but have limited knowledge when it comes to this kind of item. Any information relating to the likely age or original use would be gratefully received.

Beautifully decorated with birds, plants and other symbols.

A beautiful patina and would look amazing in the right location!

Overall maximum dimensions 37cm (33.5 int.) Diameter x 36.5cm (29cm int.) High.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antiques. There is movement in one leg (where it joins the bowl), but it is still well fixed. Unlikely to be water tight.
