In good antique condition it shows expected signs of age, including historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs, and alterations. Some historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated. Later added handles and brassware. The piece has minor veneer losses, reflecting its natural development over the centuries. Originally, it would have featured bun feet.
