Antique original British 19th Century Victorian watercolour painting.

There is a hand written note on the back that says 'At Clewer Point, July 1887'.

We think that this painting is very well executed and from a skilled artist.

This is one of around 20 paintings that we believe come from the artist. A couple of them are marked with the name BA Whitworth, but we have not been able to find out anything about the artist.

Only slight yellowing (as you would expect). A little wear to the edges from being handled and the odd tiny spec or mark, but free from any major defects (there is a 10mm diameter water mark in the top right hand corner, but it is right on the edge and some very faint water marks in the river, but these may be from when the painting was created). The painting does not appear to have been ever mounted or framed.
