Antique fine quality early 19th Century large 18" Meiji Oriental Japanese cloisonne vase. This is an early example of a very rare large decorative item!

Made of brass/bronze with enamel decoration.

A breathtaking quality piece with large impressive proportions.

Minor surface wear, knocks, marks and enamel crazing consistent with age. There are signs of historical damage around the top lip, a ding to the side with some enamel loss and another filled knock to the side beneath one of the circular motifs.

Would look amazing in the right location!

Overall maximum dimensions: 46.5cm high x 20cm diameter. 5cm diameter throat. Weighs 1.6kg.
